Yes, I'm alive. What follows is a shell of it's original form. I'm SO TICKED. I wrote a 1400 word post in about 40 minutes. Somehow the computer lost it and what remains below is all that is left. So enjoy. I'm too ticked to re-do it.
I have just been so extremely busy...torn between school, Scholar's Bowl, my wife and daughter, and finally, my college class. Wow, do I have a lot of homework. And this is just a six hour class! We meet every Wednesday night from 5 until 9....and we stay for every single minute of it. We have a massive group presentation due on December 6.....and I am pretty worried about it. Not because it will be hard to present- I got over my nerves of being in front of people YEARS ago- but because we don't know what we're going to talk about at this point. Even though I gripe about being in this class, I really enjoy it while I'm there, and oddly enough, I'm in a better mood afterward than I am before. I guess it is the comraderie of people sharing a tough experience. Groups of people in extreme situations tend to bond together, like the survivors of 9/11, or military platoons from wars and battles and what-not. It's ridiculous to compare Dr. Lipka and Dr. LeTendre's class to anything so dreadful or noble, but after you've handed in a structured abstract paper on a 40 page empirical research journal article for the fifth time and it STILL ISN'T RIGHT, you still appreciate the struggle. We all have to go through it, and we all breathe a collective sigh when papers get handed back with the beloved "Meets Expectations" stamped on the cover. Once this class is over, you can bet your bottom dollar that we'll be throwing a party....a BIG party. Everyone is invited.
Except members of the Denver Broncos.
I hate those guys.
Which brings me to my next point- Thursday night is the first ever Thanksgiving game to be hosted by the Kansas City Chiefs. I am very excited to be going- I always thought a Thanksgiving game with a national audience would be an amazing atmosphere- though cold and loud, amazing......and I'm sure it will be. But I have to question why some people think that because they have tickets to a game they have the right to be drunk, foulmouthed buttholes? There is a darkheaded guy two rows above u

It's good to be back. Seriously, I wrote a TON and the computer lost it. I about had a stroke!
I'm stoked about this week's T-giving day game between the Chiefs and the Broncos. I just HATE the Broncos.
Audrey is getting ready to crawl- I just know it! I can't wait for it to happen- but I know we'll have to childproof the house here in a week or so, because she is gonna do it pretty quick!
Say howdy to all y'all down yonder in Texas, where the men are men and the sheep are scared!
Heh heh.
Did Lennie have fun at the OU-Texas Tech game?
PEACE!
