Fantasy Football is back, baby!

I hosted the 2006 edition of the Groin Pull Classic League at my house yesterday afternoon. 12 of the 14 team members showed up. It was a good time. After a few squabbles about scoring, the drafting began.

I ended up with a solid team. I really don't have any holes. I'm weak at QB everyone started picking QB's extremely early. However, I did land Reggie Bush in the second round, amazingly enough, and that alone made my draft for me. It's a keeper league, and I get to keep 3 players. I already know who I'm keeping for next season- Ronnie Brown, Reggie Bush, and Antonio Gates.

We'll see what happens.....as every Sunday I'll be checking the stats for updates to see how my team is doing. And you, the lucky readers, will be able to read how I do.

NOTE: Days win I lose, the posts will be much happier and upbeat then when my evil players let me down!

Twas a sad morning.......we had to take Audrey to the babysitter all day for the first time since Natalie and I both reported to our respective school districts for the first day of school. School actually starts Wednesday, but we have two Inservice days (the equivalent of 2 eight-hour prostate exams.)

Anyway, Natalie had a rough go of this morning. I did okay, but only because I know she's in good hands with Peggy (the babysitter) and I'll get to see her again this evening. We were really blessed this summer- we got to spend a LOT of time with her. We saw every new change- each new development. Like last week she first started to kinda-laugh. I'm not sure what that means, but now when you act like you're gonna bite her belly when she's on her back she gives a high pitched shriek that kinda sounds like a laugh. Hence, the kinda-laugh.

Well, I'm off to make some lesson plans.

Go Titans!

And Gorillas!

And Sooners!

And Chiefs!
