I finally won!

After buying approximately 342347328954 Route 44 Diet Dr. Peppers with Diet Cherry syrup in them, I won a yellow-striped straw in Sonic's "Luck of the Straw" game. That gets me a $10 gift card that I will receive in 4-6 weeks, by which time I will have forgotten about it.

Stupid games. I get addicted to them, like when McDonald's runs their Monopoly game. I never got enough pieces to challenge, and I still have NEVER met anyone who actually won. Natalie thinks they are all a scam, and I was inclined to agree with her until this morning when I opened my lucky straw. I beat the odds, baby!

Bite me, Odds Gods!

Well here are the latest and greatest of everybody's favorite girl- Audrey!

She loves the new swimming pool and is slowly learning how to make splashes, as you can see above! She loves looking at herself in the mirror! Also she just got to see her Great-Great-Grandma Sylvia. How many kids can say they still have 2 great-great grandparents, 4 great grandmas, 1 great grandpa, 3 grandpas, and both grandmas!

But the sad thing is that My grandfather, my mom's dad, Larry McCay, is facing the end of a struggle with Alzheimer's. A crueler disease will never be found. We all love you very much, Grandpa. You will never read this, but you know that everyone is with you in person, thoughts, and prayers. I never got to get a picture of Audrey with Grandpa Larry. But this I know- she would have loved you too. AND I know that it won't be long until you are playing with all your animals in Heaven. You won't be weak anymore. YOu'll be strong again.

And THAT I'm thankful for.
